I was extremely pleased with this scanner. It is easy to use and does a wonderful job. Scanners of this size are not easy to find for a reasonable price and I don't think a more expensive one could be any better. This scanner enabled me to scan several large documents that could never have been scanned on a regular scanner. It took a few minutes to learn how to get to the screen to customize my settings and save the files where I wanted, but once I saw how to do it there was no problem at all. It does have a large footprint because it has to in order to do the job, but fits perfectly on top of a two drawer file cabinet. I put some non skid fabric underneath so it would not slide around. Since it is such a good scanner, I am considering buying a second one to keep as a backup in case this one ever stops working. I hope Amazon continues to have these in stock for a long time.
