Panasonic DMP-BD65 Blu-Ray Disc Player (Black)
I purchased this player primarily to have access to Netflix streaming video. The Netflix playback quality is outstanding, surpassing that of standard DVD. I must note, however, that I have a 12000 baud Internet connection from AT&T U-Verse. Lesser connection speeds will naturally mean a lesser quality picture.
Setup was very easy and the remote is simple to navigate.
Contrary to another reviewer who gave the unit only one star because of an alleged failure to remember playback position when the STOP button is depressed, pressing the stop button does memorize the stopped position allowing resumption of playback at the point where the disc was stopped (see user manual page 16), except for BD-J discs. The reviewer may have pressed the STOP button more than once which clears the memory.
With the addition of Netflix streaming, Panasonic is the clear leader in Blu-ray players, dollar for dollar.

With the recording of both image and sound, you can "feel" the ambiance that cannot be expressed by images alone. The program permits simultaneous recording of images captured by multiple network cameras.The program is equipped with a motion detection recording function which activates recording only when people or other moving objects are detected and a timer recording function which starts and stops recording at specified times. These two functions can be combined so that the motion detection recording function is activated during a specified time period. In addition, the timer recording function allows up to ten settings for each camera, so different recording start and stop schedules can be set for weekdays and weekends.Recorded images can be searched using conditions such as a preset keyword, recording type, timer recording, and motion-activated recording. Furthermore, all or part of the retrieved image data can be converted to still image data in the JPEG format. The converted images can be viewed by using standard image-viewing applications.The recording capacity limit function lets you set the maximum amount of data to be recorded on the hard disk of the PC for each camera. When the set maximum amount is reached, old recorded data is overwritten by new data, thus allowing the hard disk to be used more effectively.

Performs as Promised
This wireless camera has allowed me watch my backyard and dog over the web, exactly as promised. I had to call Panasonic twice to get the device working properly. I should note, however, that my technical issues were network related and would be the same for any camera of this type. What may not be the same for other cameras is Panasonic's excellent customer service reps. My only complaint is that their customer service keeps normal east coast business hours (pulse limited hours on Saturday), which made them hard to reach from California.
